Made a press page to help people looking to promote my game. I also finished the first draft of the Kickstarter page and it’s looking great. The pictures my dad helped me take last time really help in making the game stand out.
If you are a game reviewer and looking for any new games to review, please drop me a line!
I am still not sure what I need to do for the Kickstarter video though…
Marketing has been going slowly and I’ve been getting some more followers on Instagram. Not a crazy amount compared to how many people I follow, but still growing steadily. How many of those people are actually interested in the game, I have no idea, but it feels good to see the number grow slowly. I’m almost halfway through the #officepoliticsintro campaign, I have no idea what I am going to post after that…
Regarding the Game Crafter prototype, I got into a really motivated groove last week (flow?) and finished the rest of the reformating. The game is now ready to be purchased! Unfortunately due to COVID-19, it might take a whole month before I can receive the prototype…

So this past week, I’ve finished up reformating my rulebook into the 8.25in x 5.25in format that the Game Crafter requires. Took a long time due to my perfectionism but eventually I pushed through it. I’ve also been keeping up the semi-daily marketing posts on Instagram and Twitter.
There hasn’t been a stellar response in my marketing efforts but I guess that’s to be expected.
Here’s a pic of my cat sniffing the hell out of my game.
I am hoping to finish up the Office Politics reference sheet reformating this week. Then I only have the cards left (which shouldn’t need reformating) before I can order a full copy from the Game Crafter. Hopefully then I can use these versions to send out to reviewers to generate some marketing momentum.
I’ve been trying to dabble in some basic marketing by doing some social media postings. Obviously I have no idea what I am doing but I figure having something is better than nothing.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been doing daily posts, but for the next few weeks, I will be doing a deeper dive into the Office Politics cards and introduce each single one in a separate post. You can use the hashtag #officepoliticsintro to follow it!
A series on introducing the Office Politics cards!
Follow us on Twitter or Instagram for the latest posts! I am trying to post at least once per business day. I’m also pretty active on Reddit on the /r/tabletopgaming subreddit.
Stay safe out there! Wouldn’t want my precious employees getting sick.
